CHAPEL HILL, NC – Strada, a leading cross-disciplinary design firm, is pleased to announce significant developments within its Chapel Hill Studio, reflecting its commitment to strategic growth.

Bronwyn Charlton has been elevated to Senior Associate and will serve as the Chapel Hill Studio Leader and the primary point of contact for projects within the Triangle Region. This strategic move is in recognition of Charlton’s significant contributions to the firm since joining in 2023, particularly her pivotal role in helping to expand the Chapel Hill Studio and enhancing our presence in the Triangle Region.

Drawing from her extensive experience, including leadership of her own architectural design practice in Chapel Hill for many years, Charlton brings a strong multidisciplinary background in architecture and a unique blend of expertise spanning public health, costume design, political science, and creative writing.

“Bronwyn’s ability to blend analytical and creative thinking in developing practical, unconventional solutions to complex design challenges reflects her passion for innovative design and commitment to Excellence,” remarked Alan Cuteri, Founding Principal at Strada. “These talents are highly valued at Strada and our future in this region!”

In parallel with Charlton’s promotion, Melissa Wolter’s role within the Chapel Hill Studio has been strategically restructured to align with her strengths and the evolving needs of the firm. Melissa, who has played a pivotal role in the successful launch of the studio, will transition into a Business Development Role. In this capacity, she will concentrate on nurturing existing relationships and forging new ones to further expand Strada’s footprint.

“Melissa’s dedication to our team and clients is unwavering,” noted Cuteri. “She will continue to contribute to the Chapel Hill Studio’s success by maintaining her presence and assisting with client relations and proposals. Additionally, she will play a key role in broader business development initiatives across the firm.”

These strategic moves align with our goals of maximizing talent and expertise across the firm, driving innovation, and delivering exceptional design solutions to clients across the Triangle Region and beyond.
